Blake Moynes Honored for Outstanding Contributions to Wildlife Conservation

His dedication and passion were celebrated at two prestigious events, highlighting the impact he and SOSA have made in protecting endangered species and their habitats.

Lady Freethinker Compassionate Voice of the Year Award

On September 14, 2024, Blake was honored as the Compassionate Voice of the Year by Lady Freethinker during their 2nd Annual Hope for Animals night at Café Gratitude in Venice, CA.

Lady Freethinker is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending cruelty to all sentient beings and working toward a compassionate, cruelty-free world. The event celebrated influential animal advocates, including actress Kristin Bauer (Compassionate Changemaker of the Year) and activist Simone Reyes (Compassionate Activist of the Year).

Blake was recognized for using his platform as a reality TV personality to raise awareness about endangered species and inspire meaningful action. Through SOSA, he has worked tirelessly to create immersive wildlife experiences that directly support conservation efforts, empowering individuals to make a tangible difference for the planet.

GCF Event

Global Conservation Force Conservation Warrior Award

Just weeks later, on November 3, 2024, Blake was honored with the Conservation Warrior Award at the 9th Annual Global Conservation Force (GCF) Wildlife Gala, held at Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula, CA.

GCF is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving endangered species through anti-poaching efforts, wildlife protection programs, and community education.

The award celebrates individuals who have made significant contributions to wildlife conservation, whether through fieldwork, education, program development, or community advocacy. Blake’s work with SOSA exemplifies this dedication, amplifying the efforts of grassroots NGOs and bringing attention to the urgent need for conservation action.

The event also recognized Natasha Frolander with the Wildlife Guardian Award and Dylen Wehner with a second Conservation Warrior Award
