LiC works to raise the next generation of conservation-minded rural communities by:
Developing conservation education programs for local communities and schools. LiC has taught over 12,000 children in more than 110 classrooms across 11 countries, helping students understand the importance of wildlife and ecosystems.
Teaching human-wildlife coexistence and sustainable land use. Students take part in game drives, bush walks, and other hands-on activities that build on their classroom learning and show how people and wildlife can share the land.
Nurturing future conservationists. LiC funds accredited training courses for select students and offers opportunities for them to continue learning and working in conservation through hands-on experiences with LiC programs.
