Elephant Havens & Scenic Helicopter Flight
Enjoy a full-day visit to Elephant Havens, beginning with a scenic helicopter flight over the Okavango landscape. At the orphanage, guests spend the day with the dedicated team caring for abandoned and orphaned baby elephants, raising them until they can return to the wild. It’s a rare chance to witness the compassionate, years-long work behind every rescued elephant and to be part of their journey toward release.
Arrival to Mokolwane Lodge
Continue to Mokolwane Lodge in Ranwanalenaus, overlooking the vast wetlands of the Okavango Delta. As the only camp within this pristine 200,000-hectare ecosystem, it offers intimate access to leopards, wild dogs and a vibrant array of birdlife. Days include game drives, boat excursions and relaxed birdwatching for species like Slaty Egrets and Pel’s Fishing Owls. Your stay here ends with a scenic helicopter transfer on Day 7, carrying you back toward Maun and your departure.
It enables the team to expand their reach to more schools, provide educational materials, train volunteer educators, and ensure that conservation knowledge is accessible to children who might not otherwise have exposure to it. By joining us in Botswana with LiC, you are helping to nurture a culture of conservation, empowering young people to protect Africa’s unique biodiversity for the future.
