Volunteer Opportunities: Two Unique Experiences Await You

At ONCA, volunteers are divided into two main categories, each offering its own distinctive, life-changing experience:

  1. Animal Care – Primates
Volunteers in this category will work closely with various species of primates, including spider monkeys, capuchin monkeys, and squirrel monkeys. Tasks involve cage cleaning, enrichment activities, observing animal behaviours, feeding, and assisting with the overall care of these incredible creatures. This is hands-on work that requires a minimum commitment of four weeks but promises an unforgettable experience as you help rehabilitate these playful, intelligent animals.
  2. Field Research & Conservation
If you have a background in biology, veterinary science, or environmental research, ONCA needs your expertise to deepen their understanding of the rainforest ecosystem and develop innovative conservation strategies. This role offers a chance to conduct field research in one of the most unique habitats on earth, contributing directly to wildlife preservation efforts.
