Alaska 2027

We are returning to the wild bear coast of Alaska in summer 2027: a fly-in tented camp, eight guests, two guides, six days and five nights (2-3 on the bear coast) in support of the Alaska Wildlife Alliance. The exact location stays sealed until departure day - but you can expect we'll be flying out of Homer.

This trip is not sold to a crowd. We hand-pick a small cohort of people who will carry the experience forward.

Here is how it works. Apply below. IIf you are selected, you place a $250 reservation hold to lock your spot, refundable (less a $15 processing fee) for 30 days after we announce final dates and pricing, and with it, you get $250 off the trip price. That pre-sale discount stacks with our Wild Ones alumni discount ($500) and the Buddy System ($500 for each new-to-SOSA guest who joins you). Every discount comes off your final balance.

On price: the 2027 trip will not exceed the 2026 price of $6,387. If the 2027 price comes in lower, you get the lower price, and your discounts come off that. So the most a new guest would pay is $6,137 ($250 off the 2026 price of $6,387), less again with Wild Ones and Buddy discounts.
